Wow, I can remember back in the 80’s – a friend of mine had this Peavey Classic 2×12 combo amp with black widow speakers that was just killer! It had major crunch and tone. Then in the 90’s it seemed maybe Peavey was out to lunch with some of the garbage that they were putting out. I guess everything comes full circle doesn’t it? Now Peavey is making these classic series guitar tube amp heads that will blow you away! I guess they are feeling the heat from Crate and B-52. All redesigned, I’m sorry – you can’t beat thes with the EL84’s and 12AX7’s!
