The bass of choice for musicians with styles as diverse as John Taylor (Duran Duran), David C. Johnson (Aaron Neville), and Rob Wright (Chris Cagle), the Cirrus 5-string from Peavey provides deep, impeccable tones thanks to 2 VFL active pickups working in conjunction with the sounds coming off the high-quality Pau Ferro fretboard and solid wood body. The neck-thru body has a graphite reinforced neck with dual expanding truss rod and a graphite overlay on the headstock. As part of the neck-thru design, four thin lines of colored wood run parallel to the strings, two between, and one just outside the B and G strings that provide a sharp contrast to the rest of the body’s natural wood grain look.
