The Kustom Sienna 16 is a 16 watt combo amplifier with an 8″ speaker that is specifically designed to reproduce and enhance the natural sound of your guitar or other acoustic instrument. So this is an amp designed for acoustic instruments. The approach is “hi-fi” in nature. You’ll also find analog reverb to enhance your sound. EQ controls include a feedback filter, which is especially handy for live gigs. The Sienna 16 lets you fine-tune your sound, and then amplify it in a way that brings out your acoustic’s best qualities.

I don’t think Kustom makes these anymore, and you can often find them on Craigslist or a Music Go Round under $150. The funny thing is I don’t think they were as popular in the United States as Europe. Most of the videos you find on YouTube are from the EU. The setup of this amp is pretty simple and at 16 watts should be plenty loud enough for any acoustic instrument. It has basic tone controls and a reverb, and even a headphone jack for bedroom practice. It has external speaker output jack as well. At only 18lbs it’s easy to lug around to gigs and compact as well. The interesting thing is that it has both an instrument input and a mic input. If you’re a one man show, for a smaller venue you could get away with basically just using this amp.
